One flew over Cuckoos’ Nest

Got that book from my friend to drive away the boredom. I found it too hard to continue reading it with the first few chapters. Even I just closed it down in the midway b’coz of the slow pace of story. Recently Time Magazine made a lists of top 100 English Language novels from 1923 to the present and this book was listed. So started off again to find out how it got into that list. The plot and my views about that book:

Plot: Randle Patrick McMurphy... He's a man full of life, and the will to live. It's hard to describe his character in full. He's been committed to an asylum from a normal prison. It's been rumored that he got in there intentionally to get out of prison labor. From the moment he enters the building it's war between he and the dictator, I mean head nurse, who runs the ward. She has all of the authority, and he only the will to set the balance right. I don't want to give away the story so that's all I can give you.
According to me: It's been a while since I was set on my heels so much by the end of a book. Once again I can't give anything away, but this book is definitely worth your time. It took me a bit to get into it in the first place, but am I ever glad I finished it. Not the type of book that grabs you from the first chapter, but it is one I'll be thinking about for a while. I tend to think that's even better. I almost want to give it a 8, but I think that's just the heat of the moment. I just finished reading the book not 5 minutes ago.It is intentionally disturbing and it fulfills its purpose.
