The Boy who cried Wolf!!!Wolf!!!!

You remember the story???? Ok don’t gimme an expression like “Don’t be a ninny”. Agreed!!! You people did study well in KG’s. This was some experience I had in 2 different situations. I was staying at my uncle’s place for a week. That was a huge colony with 270 flats in them. A well equipped security system, security personnel (He is paid for having a comfortable sleep without his wife’s nagging) and what else to be secure. Now….. One lazy afternoon there was deafening noise in the corridor. I mistook that as some toy’s noise. But after some time, I heard a lot of commotion below. Just gave a peep and saw half of the people rushing down the stairs yelling “Fire Alarm”. Ohhh My God!!! That brought me back to senses. And asked my aunt to just lock the wooden door and come out. After hauling down 6 floors in rush, the security person told us very calmly( to my irritation) that it was some circuit problem and electricians are working on it. To worse, the lifts won’t work until the problem ...

To Mahabs on a rainy day.

I dunno what normally they call people who go to Mahabs in a day when North West Monsoon is at its best here; but I would have called them mad. And that was what I told my mom when she told me about Mahabs trip. I barked at her when she asked me to join with them. “ No way, Moving around in Mahabs in such a slushy day is not possible”. And the reason for me saying NO was because I thought none of people will be of my category. But luckily mom’s friends brought their kids too. My mom and her friends were giving their treat for their retiremen t. So it was arranged that a maxicab can be used to pick all of us from their respective places and go to Mahabs. We started off to Mahabs by 8:30. Reached Crocodile Park and roamed around for another 1 hour. Then had a sumptuous breakfast and went to Mahabs. Then started walking down the rocks starting from the Arjuna's penance to butter ball, Lighthouse, temple and then to five rathas. It’s after many years I am going there. My last visit w...

Here she is!!!!

Years after I saw her; Hearing her talk incessant, Watching her dance gracefully, Sensing her loving touch, She is still the same. Every time she raised and swarmed; When she fell to her knees; She was there eagerly to tell me some thing. Something that I lost track off. I went near; to hear her words, but wind blew them away. My thoughts wandered with that, And she went back to vastness. What was that she bubbled about? Why did she run away from me? I still stood listening to her gurgles, There she came again, from the vast expanse of darkness, With a multitude of friends, Gathering her strength on the way. It was time for me to leave, I convinced myself; She would tell me, All the worries of people, which she took away, How she had fun swaying towards the sand castles, And kids who jumped and danced with her, when we meet again My Dear waves!!!! Do remember me.

Taggomania

Here I am back… Was on a vacation.…. And now heart felt thanks to all the people who visited my blogsville. First time my blog post has 34 comments. Really excited :-) Now to tags!!!!! Gopal and Gils tagged me on the same topic. So listing down the weird characteristics of mine…. Water tap: I always felt that god connected my tear gland to water pipes. I cry [or should say tears come] for every single reason; when I am angry, laugh and to the most obvious fact when I am sad. Even when somebody gets bad scolding, tears roll down automatically. Though at times I feel the person deserves that punishment. Curd phobia: I hate curd, ice creams [doesn’t mean I don’t eat them], cream, butter, paneer and all the other forms related to this.. But the miracle is I love milk and ghee very much. I used to move away from people when they have curd rice as I couldn’t stand the stinking smell of curd. Tension Party: Just a stare is enough to bring me down to knees. I get...

To prioritize or Not to; thats the question

A professor stood before his Philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous “yes”. The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed. “ Now,” said the professor, as the laughter subsided, “I want you to recognize that t...

WHEN I CALLED UR NAME.....

I called the sun and he answered me I called the moon and she treasured me I called the stars and they cried for me When I called your name only silence came back to me. I called the earth and she befriended me I called the sky and she watched over me. I called the seas and they refreshed me. When I whispered your name only silence came back to me. I called the wind and he carried me I called the fire and he lit for me I called the animals and they sang for me When I spoke your name only silence came back to me. I've seen you pass with my very eyes I've seen you smile and my heart just sighs If only you were as good as you used to be Then the truth in you, I could see.
